　　在雅思考场中，常常出现这样一个对话：
　　“Where do you come from?
　　I’m from Hang Zhou.”
　　那么，这就是一个很典型的考生答案。
　　在雅思考试part1部分，Hometown这个话题作为必考题，它们存在在每一季的话题中，从来没有被换掉；
　　同时，作为高频题，很多考生在考场中都会被问到；所以，今天我们就来解决一下这个话题。

　　其实，在的城市名当中，除了像（Tibet），内蒙古（Inner Mongolia）等，绝大数的城市还是中文拼音。
　　那么，“I’m from Hang Zhou.”
　　“HangZhou”考官真的可以听懂吗？？？答案是：不一定！
　　我们真的需要对这个“中文拼音”做一些解释
　　下面有我们的几种方式：
　　1.位置定位
　　考官听不懂Hang Zhou，但是考官听得懂China。杭州是东部的一个城市，所以我们可以告诉考官，Hangzhou is located in East China.
　　同理可以推出，
　　Li Shui is located in East China.
　　Wen Zhou is located in East China.
　　2.城市类型＋特征
　　我依然记得，我在英国上学的时候，经常被问到来自于什么地方。我当时就想“外国人应该不知道景德镇吧！”所以我就会告诉他们，我来自于一个南方的小城市。
　　接着我又被问到：那么我的城市有多少人口呢？当时的我，几万头草泥马从脑中飞过！！！
　　但是毋庸置疑的就是，在对于城市的描述中，我们可以解释城市类型＋相应的特征
　　比如：
　　Hang Zhou is a tourist city and there’re loads of tourist attractions like West Lake as well as Lei Feng Pagoda(雷锋塔).
　　Shang Hai is a modern city and there’re loads of skyscrapers(摩天大楼).
　　Xi’an is a time-honored city and it’s renowned for(因...而出名) Terracotta Warriors(兵马俑).
　　3. 天气状况
　　The weather is pleasant and fair(天气很好). The climateis mild and there’s a lot of sun.
　　The weather is terrible. There’s a lot of rain and it’s chilly and wet(又冷又湿) in the winter.
　　4. 交通状况
　　The transport system in my hometown is well developed. There’re more than three underground lines, which help to link the whole city together.
　　The traffic is terrible. There’re too many traffic jams even in the off-peak time(非高峰期时间).
　　5. 环境
　　The environment is great. It’s got clean and tidy streets(干净整洁的街道) and there’re a lot of trees and shrubs(树木).

　　6. 当地人
　　The local citizens are polite and they are happy when you speak their language.

　　7. 食物
　　The food in my hometown is really tasty. It’s always mild and nutritious (有营养的).

　　8. 发展以及就业机会
　　It’s got a lot of large companies and businesses and I will be more likely to get a well-paid job.

　　I was born and raised(出生长大) in my hometown.
　　I’ve got a lot of sweet and unforgettable memories with my parents and friends.
