英语口语教学法:自然松弛法(Relaxation in Nature)
【特点及教学目的】
该方法来源于心理暗示法。它通过fl:学生听音乐和教师的朗读.使学生沉浸于思象中,达到松弛精神、消除身心紧张,恢复良好的学习状态的日的.该方法主要培养学生的英语听力。
【实施方法及步骤】
1.准备一段恬静的音乐录音作为背景音乐;练习用平静的声调朗读下面的两段材料。如果要结合课文学习.则课文比较好是关于大自然、生态环境自然保护方面的内容.
2.正式上课前教师可以对学生说:I know, after somany classes,you're tired and tense,so I want you to sitdown and relax. I'll let you listen to something you'dlike.
3.让学生们闭上眼睛听音乐,教师以轻柔平静的声音开始朗读;要求学生尽量思象朗诵材料所描绘的情景。以下是两段可供选择的样篇:
A Walk on the Beach
It is late afternoon on the long,low sandy beach,butit is still very you walk barefoot on the sand,you can feel the pleasant warmth of the sun caressingyour shoulders. The sand feels soft and warm as it givesway beneath your feet. In the distance seagulls are callingto each other. There is a soft splash of the waves gentlybreaking against the shore. You lie down in the sand,feeling the softness of the sand as it gently receives thecontours of your body. You stretch in the sand and feelthe sun enveloping you in lukewarm comfort. Slowly you get up and move towards the water. The water bubblesup around your feet. You feel good and at peace with theuniverse. Open your eyes slowly and gently. You feel re-faxed and refreshed and ready to tackle a challenging taskof reading a new article in English.
A Walk In the Woods
It is an early morning in the spring. You are walkingin a green leafy forest on a wel卜trodden path. Rays of sunfilter through the lacy leafwork above you. You walk qui-etly,well aware of the birdsong all about pathbelow your feet grows mossy and soon you are walking on a soft carPET of moss. Somewhere nearby a brook gur-gles. Suddenly the leafy greenness of the woods opens upinto a sunny meadow. It is a green field dotted with blueand yellow flowers,butterflies hover over it and at theedge of the meadow you see the soft form of a youngdeer. You stand very still so as not to disturb the animal,but this stillness is not difficult for is a relaxedstillness and you feel part of everything around you Youare rested and is time to return to the classwhere you will feel refreshed and ready to cope with an in-teresting new text in English.
