　　Some people find it quite positive to share information about science, business and academic stuff online while others regard it too valuable to be shared freely. This essay will examine both sides and give supporting evidence to the former.
　　It is quite common for people who have access to various resources to share generously on the Internet, especially on social media, with others who do not have equal privilege as them. The purpose of this act is to help and motivate others who have similar interests, dreams or goals, in the hope of creating a more user friendly online community, and promoting social justice. Via sharing selflessly, the people with rich resources build a positive personae and can develop their personal brand which in turn increases their popularity and brings profits to them. So, this act generally benefits not only the receivers but also, more importantly, the providers.
　　On the other hand, some may argue that information containing scientific research, business and the academic work is so precious that it should not be spread unlimitedly online. The main reason for this concern might lie in the fact that those resources are the results of numerous days and nights of hard work. In order to pay respect to those diligent and talented people as well as their huge efforts, the information should be kept as paid content. Besides, some may also be worried that the information may be taken by illegal business owners.
　　I propose that sharing important information online creates a better world. It helps many people have access to valuable and meaningful information which used to be hard to obtain and make rational and better choices for themselves. I believe that the owners of such information are willing to share because they are grateful for the privileges that they possess and they feel it is their responsibility to give back to society.
