托福常见语法错误

　　考生在备考过程中首先应该避免常见的语法错误，然后再追求语法句式的多样性。以下是我们广大考生常犯的语法错误，应首先避免此类教感错误。

　　乱用大词:很多考生都以为写作想得高分就要用一些很难、很大、很生僻的词汇。这反而会弄巧成拙。这些难词、大词，考生很容易用错，不符合语境。

　　例1: Students' propensity for a certain subject is the biggest motivation for study.

　　解析:propensity换成interestpropensity这个单词表示(性格上的)倾向，习性[S1 ] [(+for/to/towards) ] [+to-v]通常用于负面词汇.例如:He recognized his own propensity to evil.他承认自己生性喜欢作恶。而这个例句中想要体现的是学生的正面的兴趣，乱用大词却不适合语境。

　　例2: First of all, children can earn money from their jobs, although there isn't toomuch, but they will keep their salary gingerliness.

　　解析:这里的gingerliness根本是不知所云.此外，该句子还有以下问题:

　　该作文题目是讲学生是杏应该做兼职，因此children的出现就显得很莫名其妙although和but是不能连用的指代不明，they不知道是指代前面的什么中式英语:这是语言表达不地道的典型表现。

　　例3: The second argument—it might have been noticed by others—is that in someoccasion, it is quite difficult to compare parents to techers because are a kind of people,teachers are a kind of vocationteachers are a (tjnfof sncation.

　　解析:句子的表达过于中式化。

　　例4:They shocked their friends,devastated their families, crushed their best friends.

　　前面己经提到了朋友，后面又提到朋友。

　　例5:To some extends, I agree with the author's general assertion that if parents also have a comprehensive sense of professional knowledge.

　　解析:To some extends改为To some extent。
