One of them looks frustrated, thinking that everything is over. However, the other smiles with the optimistic belief that it is fortunate to have some left.
Simple as the picture is, the intended meaning is really thought-provoking. It reveals the plain fact that attitude means everything. Actually, living in a world which is full of imperfection and setbacks, it is one’s attitude that decides whether he is qualified for the success of life, and optimism differentiates those who can excel and overcome the hardship from those who easily yield to the frustrations.
Everyone will experience the up and downs in life. If one is able to look at the positive side of things through rose-colored glasses, his heart will always be full of confidence and setbacks are no longer unconquerable. More importantly, confidence is just the source of energy and inner power, which walks you through the hard times of life, tackles the difficulties and motivates you forward on the way to your goals. At a deeper level, the world needs this kind of positive energy, for it is a vital power, which can be spreaded and influence the people around. In a word, if you are incapable of altering the way how things happen, what you can do is to stay optimistic, because attitude really matters!
