　　Well, I don’t like someone who always shows off, I mean, some people are rather self-centered and talk about themselves all the time. It seems like they wanna demonstrate how successful or how tough they are so that others would look up to them. Actually, I think true friends are willing to reveal their weaknesses. They’re not afraid of sharing awkward or potentially embarrassing moments, which shows their trust in us. My bestie Sherry is robust and optimistic most of the time and I like this part of her a lot. Yet sometimes, she would confess to me some of her failures or doubts, either regarding her school performance or relationship with her boyfriend. We share experience and help each other out. That’s what close friends are like.

　　Very time before a trip, I would make detailed plans, which give me a relatively clear idea about what the trip would be like, such as which travelers’ inn to stay overnight and what kind of local delicacy to try out. I especially pay attention to the transportation, like how to get to my youth hostels from the airport and the timetable of shuttle bus as well, since I don’t drive and depend on public transportation a lot. In contrast, if I only make such decisions after arrival, I’m gonna waste much time on the road. Moreover, I wanna try the local food even though they may not cater to my taste. I usually search about them from the internet so that I’d know where to find them. Plans like these won’t spoil the fun; rather, they make the trip more rewarding.
