　　 名词化动词或形容词转化为名词。可加ing或名词后缀-tion，-ment, -ization, -ness, -ity，转化为名词：
　　动词转成名词：move->movement，refuse->refusal
　　形容词转成名词：careless->carelessness，intense->intensity
　　名词化的用法，首先可与被动语态结合
　　原句：Ifpeople decidewithout enough persuasive information，...
　　名词化：If adecision is madewithout enough persuasive information，...
　　名词化也可以用在there be后面
　　原句：Wedemand thatthe government stop taxing entertainment.
　　名词化：There is a demandfor an end to taxation on entertainment.
　　雅思小作文中表“增加” “减少”的动词也可以名词化
　　Increase steadily —— experience a steady increase；
　　Decrease sharply —— undergo a sharp decrease.
　　原句: The transportation costis risingbecause the price of petrolis increasing.
　　名词化:The increasing priceof petrol will triggerthe rise oftransportation cost.
　　 状语前置把修饰动词的状语结构提到句首，比如介词短语、分词或动词不定式引导的短语。
　　With a population of 176 million, the figures for Brazil indicate how high agricultural water consumption can be in some countries.
　　插入语是状语前置的另一种变体，它将状语结构插入主语和谓语之间。
　　Universities,when it is functioning well,should offer both theoretical knowledge as well as professional training.
　　 强调句It引导的强调句：
　　It is/was 被强调的部分 that/who从句
　　It is becausehumans are carelessthat the environment is contaminated.
　　若将It is/was和that去掉，若该句是一个完整的句子即为强调句。
　　What引导的强调句：
　　What从句 be 被强调成分=被强调成分 be what从句
　　What really matters is cooperation. = Cooperation is what really matters.
　　 部分倒装句将谓语的一部分如助动词、系动词或情态动词放在主语之前。
　　not only后的句子要用部分倒装，但but also后的分句不用倒装。
　　原句：The parents should spend time on their children, they should also communicate with them.
　　倒装：Not onlyshould parents spendtime on their children, they are also advised to interact with them.
　　only 单词、词组、状语从句位于句首。
　　only through education can we rise in the world.
　　否定副词之后
　　频度副词never, rarely, seldom，否定副词little, on no account，否定短语On no account / by no means / in no way。
　　原句：We can never lose sight of the significance of education.
　　倒装：On no account / by no means / in no waycan welose sight of the significance of education.
