　　It is argued by some specialists in education that every teenage school student benefits from the international exchange programme. Despite the obvious positive outcomes from the overseas exchange,in my opinion, the beneficiaries cannot be all the young participants.
　　On the one hand, it is widely accepted that the participating in the international exchange programme brings some prominent benefits for these students.The primary one can be that the exotic culture exposed to these participants is definitely of great use to their future prospects as the closer connection between nations requires huge numbers of international talents. Specifically, cultural communications can promote multi-cultural understanding so as to remove cultural barriers,which helps them to create an international vision and better adapt to the globalised atmosphere in the future workplace. In addition, the experience in foreign countries at an early age can also cultivate the ability of independent life.This is because these adolescents in unfamiliar foreign countries have to rely on themselves to seek for the solutions when they are encountered with some problems there in daily life considering their parents are out of reach temporarily.
　　On the other hand, there are still some teenagers who feel frustrated during the cross-national interaction programme. For these students, so psychologically immature are they that they fail to fit in with the foreign culture and educational philosophy. It is conceivable that the level of adaptability varies among students,the programme can be nightmare for some of them if they are unable to integrate into the foreign environment. Moreover, the prerequisite of being an excellent exchange student is a certain level of mastery over foreign language. Without such a language support,some students may find it difficult to communicate with the locals and ,not to mention, achieve the goal of this exchange contact.
　　In conclusion, while a large portion of students can certainly profit from the international exchange programme, I believe the negative outcome can also be suffered by some students with adaptation and language barriers.
