　　There’s someone I’ll talk about who I have a lot of respect for, and to whom I owe a lot. It ismy best friend Alice, who helped me throughout my university studies to complete my degree.
　　It all started during my third year of studies when I suddenly had a lot of projects and presentations to produce, and it was completely overwhelming! so I just felt that I couldn’t cope with all of the work involved. I felt like I had the world on my shoulders.
　　Thankfully, Alice had noticed a change in my personality as I wasn’t my usualhappy-go-luckyself. She asked what was wrong, and it was that kindness that led me to break down in tears. I explained my problem and she listened so patiently without any criticism. As I was so upset, she waited for me to calm down and then proceeded to give me some advice. Together, we looked at my workload and she helped me organise and plan my work over the coming weeks. She supported me throughout this period, and I was able to meet all of my deadlines and achieved some great scores too!
　　I was so grateful because at that point, I couldn't see the wood for the trees, and she brought some clarity to it. Suddenly, I felt the dark clouds had lifted and I was able to focus on my work again with a clear mind.I’ll be forever grateful for her help during that difficult period of my life.
