　　Dear Sir or Madam,
　　I am a resident in the community of East Lake. I am writing to bring your attention to the garbage issue we are facing due to the poor operation ofrubbish collection system.
　　Garbage is usually collected every other day at the dumping yard allocated to our neighbourhood. However, we noticed that the garbage collector's lorry did not pass by our area to pick up the trash inthe past twoweeks.
　　The accumulated waste that has piled-up through these days is posing health threats to the community. The pungent smell of rubbish is seeping into people's houses and as a result, children have started falling sick by breathing the contaminated air.
　　To address this urgent problem, I would like you to send over the garbage collector to our area as soon as possible. Also, in the long run,a monitoring schedule should be incorporated into the garbage collectionsystem to assure that the waste couldbe picked up reguarly.
