Furthermore, since self-education by nature is initiated by the student himself, it is very likely that the student will be more motivated and assiduous. Also, it is undeniable that education begins when students start absorbing rather than mechanically memorising what they are being taught. One can sit in a classroom without paying any attention to the teacher as is often the case in traditional education. Yet, self-education requires students to willingly comprehend and apply whatever principles they are learning.
